Yes. Hansen will play sparingly as well.

But seriously, glad Archibald is back up, I still think he's better for the 4th line than Weise.

- Nucker101

Agreed. Weise is just horrible.

yes, ummm, I've heard from a friend of a friend's cousin's grandmother that there is some sort of back-door *ahem* shenanigans which one can partake of (for research purposes only, of course )

P.S. and umm, just curious, how did you become aware of this particular phenomenon?

Yeah it wasn't that bad in the lower mainland. I remember it though. We left for Nevada on boxing day, I counted 65 cars in the ditch on one side of the road in 1 hour.

It was bad here in Sooke and got worse when it started to rain and calapse roofs. My Brother was in Prince George at the time and they had 145 cm in 24hrs. the pictures were amazing.

No offense but you are exagerating just a tad. The biggest snowfall in Canadian history was in 1971. In Eastern Ontario and Quebec. Dropping around 50cm of snow(over 24hrs)

So it sounds like Colture has been injured for awhile. Perhaps when he got the news of not going with team Canada, he decided to get surgery?

That is more then a 24 yr period. It does say 65cm over 24 hrs though. But the guiness book of world records (at least according to Google) doesn't recognize it. It has a storm in Michigan in 1967 as #1

The biggest snowfall total is in buffalo in 1977. At 199cm of snow

See the list I found had stuff from all over the world but had only one Canadian storm in 1971

So do you think the guiness is recording over a larger area to get a better idea or some of these are perhaps drifted area measured after it fell?

I don't know, I don't trust guiness, I prefer lagers. I saw a neat time lapse on cnn last night of snowfall over 24 hrs.
