MT @InsideTheFlyers: Giroux just congratulated Subban on his Team Canada selection. Subban's response: "You should be there." #Flyers #Habs
guess this means Subban replaces Kimmo next year - Winning
same package from earlier for PK? |

Subban is probably thinking "When the game is on the line, do I want the puck on the stick of Nash and Carter or Giroux?" |

Probably going to have to add to that package to land PK plus his pending $8 to $9 million per salary. |

Pietrangelo is a better two-way defenseman. I don't see either team letting either of them go unless the package coming back is overwhelming. I don't even understand why we try to make 'fair' trade proposals to get them. It will take much more than a fair proposal. |

thats the thing with guys in that realm. unless the team has their hands forced, via money or management or player wants out or such, it is virtually impossible to come up with a "fair" deal. you only get it if you overpay. and a fair value trade would require so much, let alone one in which you are overpaying. i dont mean to poop on the flyers value in that side of the deal, because its a ton. but i still probably wouldnt do that if i was the blues gm |

But Carter and Nash had such good chemistry in Columbus.

The only way I see a team accepting a trade is if they have a plethora of good young defenseman and they need young forwards.
Suter may be the last top 10 defenseman to hit the market for a really long time. |
