Last goal that Lundqvist gave up was a really bad one. - PhillySportsGuy
The crash test dummy/meat shield defense really helped him |

Hypothetical:
Mez keeps playing like the last several games, what do you do?
Keep him for the season and into the playoffs
Go with Gus and get some picks for Mez
Sign him to an incentive laden 1 year deal if you can
? - jstross
Keep him, and try to sign him in the offseason. If he wants too much, then let him walk and have Gus move into the top 6.
The flyers are always good for at least one injury, and then you'd have Hal i lived with dinosaurs Gill playing in the playoffs... |

If you can sign him for a big discount from his current contract, go for the resign. If he demands more than $3-3.5mil, I'd move in a different direction. |

Both units have been horrific at home. I'd start the fourth line. - 77rams
You'd expect to see some regression to the mean. They aren't a bad PP |

You keep him, because he's got no trade value right now, and if he's playing well, you might as well hang onto him, rather than trade a pick for Joe Corvo at the TDL |

He's looked pretty shaky. Even on casual saves. |

An early goal in this 3rd period basically seals this for them. |

For kicks, thought of Giroux. It did guess Giroux.
EDIT: It guessed PK Subban right, too |

No lead is safe. Cf: Flyers v. Washington |

The old "Dance with the One that Brought Ya" scenario.
I...well. I don't want to get ahead of myself with next year. He's under contract, and if he plays well the rest of the season and helps in the playoffs, great. That helps him, as a pending UFA and the Flyers.
If he's able to help, then I'm all for it. |

I hate Power plays to start the period. Everything is always so tentative. |

According to the broadcasters its because Rinaldo is tough and never turns down a fight. |
