For Phillies fans out there--
Chris Wheeler and Sarge have been relieved of broadcasting duties. - Moose_15
Good riddance, Wheels.
Sarge, on the other hand, has immunity for his work in getting the Phillies to the 1983 World Series. He's ok by me. |

Off topic, has anyone caught the new guy in WIP, Josh Innes I think his name is?
What can I say, my drive home is about an hour. |

But you know what he meant. Not to have to worry about the eye in the sky passing judgement day by day. |

If by Jr. you mean Tom McCarthy, then we can be best friends.
Clean sweep in the booth.
Bring in Franzke and LA. |

Is that MacNow's replacement? (I kinda liked MacNow--so, it'll be tough for me not to hold that against him.)

I always liked Macnow, prior to his stint with "the cuz" he used to be the one guy besides Morganti that ever talked hockey.
The drive home guy, Rob Ellis moved to after noon with the cuz and Innes took over the 6- whenever shift.

I gave up sports talk radio a long time ago, but I would occasionally break that fast for Macnow.
Now that he's gone, WIP might as well not exist as far as I'm concerned. |

I think this duo would prove to be the most entertaining (or awkwardly entertaining) scenario to replace Sarge and Wheels:

I cant watch that. It is so painfully awkward. I get embarrassed for Barkkan |

I would pay to see what Homer wanted to do to Barkan
it blows my mind that he has to much clout in this city. I don't get it |

I actually used to like the guy. He liked other sports besides the standard Philly 4, (like tennis and soccer) Then he started being a game show host. A guy who specialized in cheap shots. Being on WIP just made it worse.

I liked him more when he was just a host. His opinions are to the extreme. He seems to enjoy drumming up controversial things.
Edit: The Skip Bayless of Philly. |

He's been great lately. Maybe his best stretch of hockey since making it to the NHL. - PhillySportsGuy
I still think the 11/12 playoffs were his best. He seemed to be one of the best players in the Devils series, and showed shadows of the Mike Richards comparison in the Pens series. |

Isn't he the guy who does on-court interviews at the US Open or something? |

I think he does. I think he does some work for golf and tennis. |
