I still think the 11/12 playoffs were his best. He seemed to be one of the best players in the Devils series, and showed shadows of the Mike Richards comparison in the Pens series. - jmatchett383
Schenn's current age is around the time Carter and Richards really came into their own. |

Isn't he the guy who does on-court interviews at the US Open or something? - jmatchett383
Yes he is, or at least he was. I am not sure if he still does or not.

The Flyers' historical reporting on injuries has not exactly engendered trust in their public injury pronouncements. - johndewar
It took forever for them to reveal that Grossmann got a concussion in practice last season, although we found out about Briere's pretty quickly.
This season Raffl's concussion was announced right away, while Read is still listed as just having a UBI. |

I think he does. I think he does some work for golf and tennis. - PhillySportsGuy
This is always one of my big problems with WIP. They look down on other sports and refuse to discuss them in any way. At least The Fan 660 in New York discusses Tennis, golf, soccer, Hockey, Olympics World Cup etc etc. They always seem to find the air time, and they have two of every major sport, and in some cases three, to talk about.
WIP always treated other sports and those who liked them as a joke. All Iggles all the time.

Also interesting that you're no longer hearing the armchair GM's here talk about how awful Hartnell is and how he has to be moved. - Doc_Sarcasm
Hartnell, Streit and Schenn are all useless and they suck and need to be traded! I'm sick of this Holmgren! |

I was listening last night to some clown (went on a rant about Vick)...I know, I'm terrible.
His point was:
- The Phillies are entering a dark period.
- The Sixers are just good enough to not go anywhere
- The Flyers, while on a good run, aren't doing anything.
- The Eagles had a good season.
Therefore, it should only be Eagles talk for the next few months. |

Don't forget Couturier. We should have traded him after 11/12 when he had some value. |

He has either a lower upper body injury or an upper lower body injury. He may also have herpes, but that's unconfirmed. |

He wasn't dead.
His brain operations ceased and he stopped breathing. He's day to day. |

And this is why I stopped listening years ago.
Wanting to only talk Eagles (and I am an Eagles fan) is why I stopped listening.
Well, that, and the uninformed callers and the bullying hosts. |

I'll be honest. The broadcasters make a huge difference for local sports. When the Phillies are bad, I can't listen to McCarthy and Wheels.
When the Sixers suck this year, I don't mind listening to Zumoff and Malik Rose. Rose says some strange things and Zumoff isn't great, but they seem to work well together. |

Zumoff goes back to the days of Prism, I think. I like him.
I liked when the Phillies had Scott Graham and I'm not terribly sure why they ditched him. |

I was lukewarm on Graham. I don't see why Franzke and LA are on radio. They are both incredible together. Sometimes I listen to the game on radio even when I am home just because they're so much better than McCarthy and Wheels. |
