People expect this team to perform at a much higher level than they are capable of, unrealistic expectations. This is a very average team that must play a tight system and rely on their goalie and PP to win games.

Habs PP is 4/44 in their last 12 games....and look at their record the last 12 games.

The winning streak skewed things quite a bit though and raised expectations to an unsustainable level.

This team is decent and will likely finish where they are right now. They may even win a round which is more a statement about the eastern conference than of the competence of this team.

I personally have had trouble understanding Michel Therrien's coaching style this year. His constant holding back on Brière , his bad decisions like pulling out price after a shoutout the night before , Giving 10000000 chances to guys like Bourque. To be willing to sacrifice last night's game to "teach them a lesson" ....

If I was the GM (Don't worry i won't mistakenly call him Pierre Gauthier this time lol) i would start having doubts on my coach. He is not making the team look very confident and strong right now.

Bergevin isn't blind, nor is he stupid. There is no way that he is oblivious to what is going on and in fact, we are likely the ones who have it wrong. Some seem to think that MB is just sitting back in the shadows. I don't believe that for an instant.
