Dont see him getting traded at the deadline or going to another team in the summer - MTL1

We could let him go only if we had someone who could take over his role and clearly we do not have anyone close to Markov to step in |

Without a doubt but I don't think I would extend him longer than two years |

Yup 2 years is good at $5
Then hopefully Nathan is ready to step up - and then Markov signs on for yearly contracts |

Beaulieu has some offense to his game, he might be able step in in a couple years with Subban |

He has offensive skills without a doubt, but his décisions taking and his work ethic worry me. He is also talented to take lazy selfish penalties... |

I saw him quite a bit in Jr. as well, I think the potential is there with some added maturity who knows |

Yeah, the kid can skate and has over-par stickhandling. Let's hope he turns out fine. Would like to see Pateryn get called up in case of injury. He is having a good year and is improving every year. |

Agreed, didn't mind Pateryn in the limited time he had. |

I think he gets a Gonchar type of deal - 2 years at $5M per year - MTL1
That would be a steal. Doubt he signs it |
