I hope Hank sits out the Olympics if he needs time for his finger to heal. He needs a Stanley Cup more than any Olympic medal!

I'd argue he's got a much better shot at one over the other.

IMHO - It seems quite similar to the ACC where most of the music is geared towards not offending the suits in the front rows. The main issue in Toronto is way too many corporate seats. The majority of the Platinum seats don't return until 5 minutes into the period. Maple Leaf Gardens was an incredible atmosphere because it was all fans. The ticket prices are getting out of reach for the majority of true fans. Especially since they're not high in the rankings.

I know there is so much talk about taking fighting out of the game but until they do there is no need to hide behind it. I remember seeing a few years ago in Dallas (they still may I cant remember) that after a fight they play a clip from rocky, or slap shot etc. kind of taunting the other team. Video clips like this can be great. Rock music 100%

Hockey is simply an intense game to play at the pro level. So that intensity should be recreated in the atmosphere through, music, video, light, shows etc.

there is never a need for pop or techno in a hockey rink. Keep that to a sport without full contact.

That would be the "team player" thing to do.

Blues are just like the Kings for the Canucks, they can match/beat them in the skill game and beat them physically. Just not a good matchup.

Gillis better be working those phones to trade Edler for a 2nd liner with some grit/size.

Geez. A month or two ago you'd have been banned and it would have set them off for pages. Now barely a mention.

I guess it set in that everyone was right about them all along....

There does exist a tipping point in every fanboy's heart where reality overpowers optimism.

Leaf fans might be there, but incredibly they're still in a playoff spot so it's definitely worth fighting for as opposed to throwing in the towel.

He's already won gold with Sweden. How much is team Sweden paying him again?

Is there room beside Kesler in your avatar (and on your bedroom ceiling for another poster), if the Canucks do trade for Kane ?

Canucks games cater to the wealthy, boring fans. I used to have half season tickets until a couple years ago when I realized it was more fun (and cheaper) to watch the game at home in HD with some buddies and cheap beer. I was told numerous times by people sitting behind me to sit down while celebrating a Canucks goal. People get kicked out for being too noisy. I blame Booth.

You can't speak up at all during the game ... or somebody calls 1-800-IRAT.... And you get kicked out.....

I 100% agree about the Cheap beer too ... and I have a 60" HD TV which is just as good to watch it on.
