The size of the media required to run the video is going to be large... they will have to sell the movies on Flash media or download them directly to your TV... which I believe comes with a built in quad core that is required just to run the video

Hockeydb is pretty slow updating their hight/weight.

4K or Ultra HD is insane... a friend of mine has a non released Google Laptop as he works for them... it was 4k and it is crazy... the sun actually almost hurts your eyes... it is like being there.

The wife and I are still paying off our crippling student loans, and were planning to move into a bigger place at the time, so we were on a serious budget.

Took me a while to convince her that a bigger TV was a better investment than new glasses/contacts, so I struck while I had the chance...

I still think it's going be a few years before the content will be available to fully utilize that technology. Blu Ray is already pretty good for movies and TV isn't even broadcasting in 1080 yet.

My wife flipped when I spent $2000 on a 55" Samsung LED, it's gonna take a few years for me to convince her to let me spend more on a 4K TV.
