That was a disgusting display of disinterested D zone play on the 3rd goal by those two.

Can somebody explain to me why Carlyle broke up the Franson/Fraser combination that was working last season? Why he broke up the Lupul/Kessel connection from last year?....They both feed off of each other, both supposed to be ppg players...

Because everyone (Carlyle included) got it in his head that Franson was something more than a #5.

He put up points and was kinda/sorta decent playing sheltered minutes and suddenly he became a "future top pairing" dman... Despite already being 27 years old.

I absolutely agree with you... it's time... Carlyle has to go... they're better than this... it's the systems... or lack thereof...

I remember the days a few years ago when everyone was talking about the 'country club mentality'... After all these coaching, player and personnel changes, one wonders what can be done to really change the organization.

It's probably as simple as "just win, baby."
