I look at the Pat Burns model for how you coach a team in Toronto.

He had every guy's back, and you need that in TO. But he was also incredibly intense. You listen to a guy like that. He's your biggest supporter through thick and thin, but he's the type of guy who commanded respect.

Too many "player's coaches" become doormats. Too many dictators get tuned out by their players.

I give Patrick Roy credit for figuring out that fine balance one game into his career.

First of all my first post was a question..... second prove to me Reimer did not have 3 goals scored on him in the first period....

That would make it 3 of the last 5 games he has started he has allowed 3 first period goals.... maybe the team has given up on him

The NHL has become over coached if you ask. Heck pro sports. Over analysed and over complicated. More coaches, more video etc...
