So blues got quite a few.

Glad we settled this like ladies.

I'd argue the Blues have one player that fits the mold: AP.

I could probably fill the list with 15 forwards from Team Canada alone, and that's before we even get to Russia. Then, like I said, about 5 goalies and MAYBE a dozen d-men, if that.

The top 40 fills up quicker than you'd think.

I wasn't being insulting, just asking if 40 seemed too much. Too me it does. I'm thinking top 25....heck maybe even 20.
- Fakepartofme

See that's the pointless thing about these debates.

'Elite' is an arbitrary distinction that's different for everyone.

You're normally pretty level headed about our players... but blaming this night on Reimer? Sometimes I wonder... what I ever saw in you...

I think we need some time apart... it's not you, it's me...

Eliminate all the distractions....

The goalie controversy has to end. Appoint Bernier #1. Neither has earned it more than the other, but its a distraction. Trade Reimer while he has value.

The defense controversy has to end. Tell Gardiner he's staying a Leaf and he won't be traded. Franson goes to arbitration. You know what to do. Get value while there is still some.

4th line plugs: McLaren and Orr are not fighting. No point carrying two fighters that aren't fighting. Trade one. I love both fighters but when there are no fights, its simply not necessary.

Coach: the team has tuned him out. A change needs to be made. Take the pressure off the players. Let Carlyle be the fall guy. Even if its partly the players fault, get the pressure off them. Get a new coach and give the team the notion of a fresh start.

Fraser/Ranger: This experiment has to end. Everyone likes a nice comeback story. Its not happening. Cya. Get a kid from the Marlies.

Kadri/Holland/Bolland/Bozak: Trade 1. They can't all possibly fit into the long-term plans of this team. Personally, I like Bolland and prefer to keep him. He's the gem of the bunch. The heart.

Clarkson: IDK even what to do here. Find a taker if you can and package one of the above as incentive. Waste of salary cap space. Alternatively, just keep him and hope that he starts playing better and the cap goes up.

Is Carlyle going to keep Reims in after another goal? Then it gets to 8 and he pulls a Roy?

Obviously not. All I did was say that Bernier and Bolland are good acquisitions by Nonis.

Backes is pretty damn good.

Steen was better than everyone but Sid till he got hurt.

JBo beat out some fantastic players to make team Canada.

But anyways. I don't care. We have slightly differing opinions.

Neither have been great of late but IMO reimer gets a chance he's screwed it up. May not be fair but the leafs want Bernier
