Leaf have been playing to lose for years by the looks of it.

I just realized NYI's Andy MacDonald is UFA coming up. He's 27, currently has 22 pts in 45 games and plays shutdown minutes.

NYI apparently hasn't been able to re-sign him, there's no indication the two parties are close, or even negotiating. This could be the elusive top pairing D-man, no? I could see NYI having interest in Reimer plus a D prospect or two....
