Fraser has been scratched in 10 of the past 11 games.

A 40% increase over 8 seasons is pretty significant. It's certainly enough to say that teams are changing their strategies to adapt.

Teams are playing for the loser point, which is bad enough, but now they're playing for shootouts.

This is good, Franny has been bad sometimes this year but having always playing with offensive guys is dumb. This is what I was hoping the Gleason trade would bring.

I hate ties more than shootouts but a longer OT and a better points system would go a long way.

In the AJHL they do 3 on 3 overtime, ends most nights. Shootouts happen but way less often.

This is good, Franny has been bad sometimes this year but having always playing with offensive guys is dumb. This is what I was hoping the Gleason trade would bring.

It will be better. Gotta have a good mix of guys, too many puck movers lately. I mean it says a lot that Fraser and Franny were a better pair last year than any of the guys he's played with. Plus Gleason is a tough bugger, good to be playing with Dion. I like Gunner but if we're being honest he isn't a top pairing guy, Gleason probly isn't either but when he's on he's closer.

If Fraser is seriously starting ahead of Gardiner, then I dearly hope he's been traded already. If not, Carlyle has taken to the bottle.
