Horcoff is older, slower, less productive, has a $1.3M larger cap hit, and had 2 yrs left on the contract while Booth would have just over 1 yr left if traded at the deadline.

If Horcoff can be traded, Booth could be traded. Not saying it will happen, but it could.

No. Because I strongly believe that Edler has similar value, but obviously less potential trading partners with him. Tanev and Hamhuis are the rocks of the defense. He should be locked up long-term IMO. I would move Tanev in a package for a Kane type, you guys know how high I am on Kane.
