Mact said it a few times. They know how hard it is to get guys like Eberke, RNH, Yak. They are not giving them away unless someone else overpays. Most of the poop on here is so stupid it hurts.

We are in this situation because the oil mismanaged the team. I think they have learned their lesson and will not be trying to take any shortcuts. As Morris pointed out, we are not likely to climb from the basement due to a trade. Especially when the only moves are going to be with other bottom dwellers.

No fault of Mac T's ( I blame Tambo), but I think mistakes cost us a year. 5 year plan should now be 6. We simply need more time to acquire and develop assets, unless free agency can actually get us the pieces we need, not to mention probably 3 years before Marincin, Klefbom and Nurse are in the NHL.we need someone to come in and simply make Eberle or Yak expendable. That is not gonna happen next year.

If MacT is planing to make a big trade that will help the Oil it will be in the off season, then every team is open for trades not just botton dwellers, any trades that MacT can make right now are with players like Hemsky, Nick Shultz, and maybe Gagner.

Yeah, you can blame Lowe, but Tambo was such a chickenpoop to add any veteran pieces....or trade vets for vets that would be better suited to help us now. A couple of 20 year old D a few years back wouldn't have cost us a lottery pick, and would be useful today. Now those guys are 23 , coming into their own and way to hard to pry from their teams . I'm talking about guys like Bogosian, for example.

I'd do Gagner for a 2nd to 3rd line banger. Kreider would give me wood. The panel just mentioned Del Zotto. I'd take either
