if only it didn't take so long for trades to go through - Chest Rockwell
I might just change it to a 72hr wait period to milk this hot streak as much as possible |

Scooby with a blockbuster today - Bieksa#3
Noticed that.
I'm starting to think Vancity787 is confused about the type of draft we're having. |

Yeah, I don't see anything beyond round 2 worthwhile |

All of them, if you want.
You just have to drop one if you want to draft/pick another to stay under the roster limit.
If we end up reducing the bench spots, teams will have to drop, but that's still undecided.

Yeah, 1 and 2, mostly.
Some of the weaker teams might still be able to make upgrades in the 3rd round, depending on which players get dropped in the earlier rounds. |

We are talking our pool right? I think most teams will improve . I took my team over in last place made some trades and now am competing week to week with all opponents. It is easy to tra de in our pool as opposed to the real league.
Just avoid trading with Nucker and you can make fair moves |

The other pool I'm in, it's even tougher to trade than in the NHL. Seriously. |

Yeah, that's one of the good things about a big league and lots of roster spots—there's plenty of opportunity to improve with trades and FAs.
There will be good players in the 1st and 2nd rounds, and possibly a few in the 3rd for lower teams, again, depending on who gets dropped in the earlier rounds.
But when you get into the 4th round, basically all of the players available could be had as FAs right now... |

Yeah, my other pool is like that.
Only one or two trades so far this year...
Been in it for like 7 or 8 years, but I'm starting to lose interest. |

Clearly. What the hell was the point in me acquiring the draft picks if were not even having a redraft
Sounds like I've put myself behind the 8 ball for years to come. |

No poop, that was close. One less shot on net by the Oilers, you would have won the week. One more shot by the oilers, I would have taken another point.
When was the last time the oilers had an impact on anything besides the outcome of a lottery pick? |

I've been pretty forthcoming with info about the draft on this board and the pool board—sorry if you missed it
Your 1st and 2nd rounders will still be valuable (and I'd hold on to most, unless you're offered a great young player/prospect), but I wouldn't put much value in anything higher than that.
I'd target some younger players that might break out next year for your older players, as well (the Bieksa's female doges method).
Good thing is, you'll probably snag some good players in the draft from the folded teams, and you still have time this season to make some more moves through trade/FA.
