Wins count as 2 points. Ties 1.

So you got more than 12 points.

Anyone else find it odd that Torts has no problem playing Dalpe with the Sedins but adamantly refuses to give Kassian a consistent look there?

I'd hardly call 2+ periods and a practice a "consistent look".

Yeah there's a lot of weirdness with that top line pairing. He's clearly seen something he doesn't like or feels Kassian is better utilized elsewhere. Either way the Kassian-Sedin project that everyone expected over the summer has never really gotten on the ground and in the meantime we have to endure watching Hansen get more chances than anyone in their right mind should ever have given him.

After 40 years of cheering for this team, nothing surprises me or strikes me as "odd" anymore.

I'd call it more consistent than the odd 45 second shift after a penalty kill.

Exactly. Did Kassian spit in Tort's soup or something?

It really doesn't matter who plays with the twins, it will still result in the same production. Putting Dalpe, Weise, Sestito or whomever would be the same as putting Kassian.

Look at the 1st line in Pitsburgh, some plugs named Gibbons and Kunitz are put there...

It is strange how it is decided who plays where. I guess Kassian wasn't given the opportunity this time because he isn't as good on face offs as a regular centre and that is needed with Henrik's injury.

Dalpe looks good at times, and has a quick release. Was wondering about Jeremy Welsh too? Thought he was projected higher than Dalpe for offensive production, I guess it is hard to get the opportunity to show your stuff and I think he is back on the farm.

Frank Corrado.

Is the saviour of the franchise or is he losing a little momentum on his trip to superstardom? I didn't see too much of his play - wasn't really watching the last few games, but he wasn't a standout. Weber has been looking better.

I know people were calling for him to crack the squad out of training camp, but I haven't seen anything to suggest he will be playing his way onto the team, only if injuries happen.

Thoughts?

EDIT: And why the flying Feck does TSN not have the canucks game on their schedule. Is it "The Stupid Network" now?? Bastards.

Why rush him? He's there for depth but really should be honing his craft in Utica.....

Not to mention he has the easiest contract to transfer between here and Utica.
