Don't commit the crime, if you can't put up with the public speculation and ridicule...

I hope Weise gets suspended. He's like a teddy bear out there. All it took was a Doughty dive gone wrong, and now Weise is a dirty player.

Seriously? That looks like a dive to you? And if so, follow up question. Have you undergone some sort of clockwork orange type anti-kings or anti-doughty brainwashing?

Weise slew footed and Dorthy dived. Canucks payed back those classless pussies what they have deserved. They may have lost the battle last night but made big strides to winning the war.

I honestly believe next move if Kings want to play that pillow biting style is go after their top guys. Take quick out for the rest of the year and goals may come a little easier.

I still think Weise shouldn't have let up on that goaltender interference call. Shoulda seen if LA's backup can hold down the fort as well as Lack has been.

Yeah you got to learn by your mistakes. Quick does the dive and you get the penalty. He should have drove him to the net taken him out of the game and turtled when the tough guy comes to pummel him and put us on the PP when it is there turn to get 27 min in penalties.

Somebody open a window in here. The testosterone level is approaching Brad Marchand levels.

Oh - belated happy 2014 wishes.

I just spun the wheel, Tom Sestito will not be suspended.

"Hockey Play
After a thorough review we can find no basis to impose supplemental discipline. This was a hockey play. In reviewing this play, we also took into consideration that it's the playoffs [sic]. We did think about it though. We were very close. Like really close."

It totally was. It was also interference by Doughty, so they missed both penalties.

What a great game last night. I've never been so happy after a loss. That was old time hockey!

Not sure if you've been paying attention but during Quick's lengthy absence Scrivens ran a save percentage of .930%+ with Martin Jones at .950%. Pretty sure it's less about the goalies and more about the system with them.

Only saw the highlights of the game. Looked like scenes out of Slapshot.

One heck of a game. Could be a blood bath if they meet in the play offs.

It should be fun when they visit here. Canucks need to put on a show at home like that one.

poopty that we didn't get the 2 points. After that emotional game it's going to be tough for the team to get up for Anaheim I think.

Not a dive, but he did pull an obvious pick. And Weise reacted.

If that obvious pick doesn't happen, Weise skates by and doesn't touch him.

He took your toughest guy out of the game. I wish he didn't, because the rest of the game would have been even more of a gong show. But still a good move for LA.

Absolutely - Really glad to see the guys stick up for each other. Seemed like a completely different team - especially compared with last year.

Because he threw a pick that doesn't give Weise the right to slew foot .... That's like saying if you hook a guy he has the right to butt end you back ??

He also tried to take out our best player. However, the Kings always target Lu or one of the Sedins.
