He's as clueless as Therrien IMO.

His offseason acquisitions are suggesting he doesn't what's wrong with this team.

None of those off-season acquisitions will be here long term, they are there to patch holes until prospects are ready for the NHL.

You really would rather have Clarkson or Clowe signed to long termed over priced deals?

I'll give you Gilbert, who you keep mentioning, he's doing very good beside Campbell in Florida.

But the GM didn't have a lot of money to throw to UFAs, and the team is not ripe to make a big move tradewise. Eventually with the rise of the youngsters on Defense it might be.

Nah it was actually about the city of MTL - meant to be a political piece I think (not an offense to MTLers)

Je suis désolé qu'un chien t'ait mordu le cul. J'espère que la prochaine fois ce soit quelque chose de moins féroce, un blaireau ou pourquoi pas un carcajou.

It's bite sized

Leaves you still a little hungry after eating it

It's a nice small snack

It's short of expectations

Agree on the Briere signing. Maybe he was hoping that playing in Montreal would rejuvenate him and it backfired. I don't think he will make that mistake again.

Bouillon and Murray were brought in because there were doubts with Tinordi. At least, I hope that's the reason. In the long run, when Tinordi comes up and plays like we all hope he will, Murray would have been a good investment.

For the first time this year going into a game, I fully expect Montreal to get absolutely rocked tonight.

Expect or hope? A good beat down may serve as a wake up call.

My hope: Briere panned out exactly as planned. The QPs of the fan base demanded a big named frenchie so he went out to get one (sorta) with the knowledge that it wouldnt work. Seeing this failure, all of the QPs will take their (frank)wad glasses off and realize we need to be good to win, we dont need to be french to win. MB brilliantly sacrificed 2 years and $8M for the greater, long term good of the franchise

Don't like Bergevin's attitude. Seems like all he ever says is that it's not possible to upgrade via trade or free agency, and all they can do is keep drafting.

I don't think they need a wake up call. They work hard. They just don't have much talent.
