There's a reason the Sens are where they are in the Standings.

They allow 3.04 goals per game on average.

Anderson is nothing close of where he was last year and the whole team is great at creating turnovers. Both Plekanec breakaway goals came from offensive turnovers and PK's goal came from Karlsson's turnover.

i wouldn't count on Bergevin doing anything aside from telling the media why he can't do anything.

I wouldn't go for a rental player at the moment. I think the team is better off with keeping their prospects and picks. I don't expect a blockbuster trade, they happen so rarely nowadays anyway.

I wouldn't either but maybe drop some of the deadwood for picks if possible.

As long as he sits Bourque, Brière and Diaz i would be fine with it. I just don't get why they don't give a chance to Pateryn.

He really would but I'd like to hang onto him. I was thinking more like Briere for a 4th

This guy will retire a Hab and rightfully so. I believe he will come at a friendly cap hit (longer term like 5y/18M$).

Depends on the return. The organizational depth could have been different today had they traded Souray and Streit.

Subban is a great player, a difference maker and I will cheer for him with Team Canada but no way in hell I would take him on my team. GO SENS.

Gonchar's 3y/$15M will be the starting point IMO.

Or Streit's 4y/$21M

i agree. but those are not the only moves GMs make. when you have a sizable portion of your roster contributing nothing, it's not that hard to shake things up.

I'd be all in for a rental player that has good potential to re-sign, like the Kovalev trade.
