I'd be all in for a rental player that has good potential to re-sign, like the Kovalev trade. - Not_Yan

Gonchar's 3y/$15M will be the starting point IMO.
Or Streit's 4y/$21M - _nay_
Maybe, but he shouldn't play more than 3 years before retirement hence the 5y/18M$. 6,5,4,2,1 per year so he gets 15M$ the first 3 years and help the team with a 3,6M cap hit. |

If the said rental is Callahan then yes. Who did you have in mind, just curious. |

As long as he sits Bourque, Brière and Diaz i would be fine with it. I just don't get why they don't give a chance to Pateryn. - Habsody
i wonder how much is coaching too. when you see the dmen constantly backing up, giving up the blueline with no opposition, giving a free pass into the slot area, letting guys crash the crease... |

This guy will retire a Hab and rightfully so. I believe he will come at a friendly cap hit (longer term like 5y/18M$). - Habsody

No one would but i would prefer to give the 3rd line center duty to Galchenyuk when he comes back. |

I think there's something in the CBA about the drop from year 1 to the last...

agreed that lands on him squarely and its been going on all season, one of the reasons I don't see PK getting any Norris consideration |
