The only thing I remember about figure skating is jeff galooley or whatever his name was that was involved with assaulting Nancy Kerrigan. And that hot one who married the hockey player - tomcat24
Ya, its very easy to overlook and forget the complete impartiality of Russian figure skating judges. The Russian skaters will have to skate extremely well to win gold, silver and bronze in all of the competitions. But I'm sure they will. |

I'm less excited to watch the events in which the winner is decided solely by judges, like skating or the half-pipe.... |

Yeah I used to like them, too. Saw a lot of king's games on cable in the late 80's and 90's, but this team now is cheap and dirty to me. Nolan and brown suck |

HURRY!!! HURRY HAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRDDDDDDDDD!!!!! - wizardofi
Couple Super Bowls ago, we had an ole friend of the family over to watch the game. She was recently widowed and trying to carry on, but was still in good spirits.
During the endless run up to the game...we had some female curling on in the background and you could hear those ladies saying that two word phrase off/on for a good half hour.
So, i finally ask our friend Gloria....
"Hey Glo....have you ever asked a man to HURRY HARD ? "
Everyone was naturally shocked that i would ask such a personal question...even though i asked it in a fun way.
Gloria took a good 5 seconds to honestly think about it and she replied,
"I don't think i ever the used the word Hurry."
The room exploded with laughter. Classy dame that Glo !!!!

Don't know exactly when the Rockfish Triplets were here, so here are the 10-game splits for the Hawks:
6-1-3=15
7-2-1=15
7-3-0=14
7-1-2=16
3-1-5=11 (9 games)
That seems pretty consistent to me - no domination (75% of possible points is the best) and no "come back to the pack" (the most recent split is 61% with all of those OT losses).
Pirri hasn't played in Chicago in 20 games; Morin hasn't played in Chicago in 14 games; Nordstrom hasn't played in Chicago in 18games (and in the 27 games before that).
So: if we take the first 30 games as being with the trio, and the last 19 without, we have:
20-6-4=44=73%
10-2-7=27=71% - StLBravesFan
I put forth these FACTS at the beginning of last blog
Some fun with numbers
Hawks with Pirri 24 games
Record 18-5-3 75% of possible points
PK% 54 out of 70 = 77.1%.
11 pts +6
Without...
12-3-7 70% of possible points
54 out of 70 77.1% yes this is true..
10 pts -1
Twist/turn and justify them all you want, this is what was done. |

That was my whole point, which is counter to the boards director of hockey operations evaluation and assessment that Gasp is a huge liability.
Thought the PK was much better with Zus etc...Facts just don't support the narrative.
