No not really. Only that he stood out in the german league years ago and back then was the one of 3 Goc brothers who had the potential to make it to the NHL. He made it and I'd say established himself in the league. Also only heard that he is a reliable player, but I don't really follow him as I spend most of the time on Hawks talk and games .

I'm not denying that we can do better than Gagner(I like the Plek idea) and for TT it would have to be a package deal aka not straight-up. But I could see this happening if Edmonton doesn't overvalue him and because of the Kane connection.

I wouldn't say all rumors are ridiculous. Most legitimate trade rumors from actual sources are at least semi-balanced for both teams and make some sense. Nonetheless, it gave us something to do while we waited for tonight's game and for that, I am grateful.

We will see how things move forward now with Sakic and Roy running things. Something about that old management pissed off a lot of dads. Paul stastny's dad Peter also was really pissed.

My personal belief is that we have the solution to the 2C situation, we just won't get him until the end of this season or next year (more realistically). Stan should stand pat with TT and make a minor deal to solidify the 4th line.

Agree; especially if Shaw continues to play well at 2C. Kruger could be potentially moved to 3C, then get a 4C to play with B52 and Smith.
