Thing is he throws a guy in there that you or I would have and he throws them in once and they don't score that one time and then he goes back to Zajac who can't finish to save his life and I haven't been impressed at all with Elias' last few attempts either. Henrique hit the post I believe last time I would give him a more regular role in the shoot out I might try Loktionov I would give Gelly one shot because well really it can't make any less sense then the coaching decisions Deboer makes but my regulars would likely be Henrique, Elias and I would rotate the third mostly between Ryder and Brunner but would also consider giving Clowe another shot and rotate guys like Boucher and Loktionov. But I am more then done with Zajac and the shoot out guy misses the most glorious chances during the game and still can't score to save his life when it's just him and the goalie.

Ryder struggled early in the shoot out so I am weary about him but we have like no one else Kovy used to walk in and just freeze goalies. I remember his shoot out goal against Lundqvuist just slowly walked in and put it five hole on him and he didn't even move it was as if he didn't see it at all but knew it was no longer on Kovy's stick.

You don't win hockey games with 11 shots through 2 periods. We're only down 1-0 but this game is already over. this is an insurmountable lead that Colorado has built. Avalanche could easily have 3-4 goals right now but through luck and Schneider consistently playing well we're not losing by a ton.
