Yas wanna trade for a center? We have centers.

In two months time, if O'Reilly is not playing for the Avalanche, he'll probably either be playing for the Canucks, the Rangers, or the Coyotes.

O'Reilly's PP numbers are pretty good, but he's playing with some offensively talented forwards as well, which we don't have too much of.

He's not the answer, keep looking.

He does have 18 goals on the wing though so he has converted to wing quite nicely and is still very strong in both ends it would be like having two Patty's. PLus he plays a rugged game he isn't as soft as Elias.

He would be great with Patty. I'd take him on this team any day how can we do it though? Larsson for him...Hope that wouldn't bite us in the ass down the road.

We could use a lot of things.

If we won half of these shootouts we would be 2nd in the metropolitan....WTF can Lou do something to either help us win here or win earlier in the game so we don't get to this (frank)ing point. I love how him and Pete just seem to accept this as oh well we are playing good hockey the shootout is stupid. Yeah no poop it is stupid but we are going to miss the playoffs because of this probably. And anyone know where I can find stats for shootouts? I'm curious to see if Patty has even scored in his last 10-15 shots the guy is driving me insane in these and I just don't understand why he has hands and a shot. He use to be good at it...

Nah man even before Kovy was here though he was pretty good and won us a lot. I remember a few times him feeding Lundqvist some topshelf cookies and hank didn't even move. We have fallen off as a team at them even in Zach's last season here I feel like we started to lose these at the end of the year and it continued into last year and now we are here and a joke.

Goalies are also getting better at them and Patty doesn't have stone hands but he also isn't the most creative deker out there he is just more calm then anything else what worked for him 3-4 years ago has clearly been figured out.

So does Corey get the next start? Three more games until the outdoor game with the Rags which i assume Marty is starting. I think i'd let Corey start the next two against PHO and STL then have Marty take the next two against WAS and the Rags.

He pretty much dekes the goalie every time mother(frank)er just hasn't lifted the god damn puck in what feels like two years. Goaltending has improved though I agree with that.

Agreed. You can hate on the shootout all you want, but its here to stay and right now its costing the team valuable points. I just can't understand how Lou and Pete are fine with putting the same poop out there and expecting them to stop being a .500 team, the shootout is a perfect example of this. Same shooters, same results.
