and thats totally fine if you feel that way, because you are conceding that the majority of his statistics come from playing with the best player out there.
what gets me is the well kunitz sucks, its only because of the team he plays on. followed by a crosby is overrated. i dont see how someone can generate that logical progression and not be in some sort of home - stayinthefnnet
Well, he had a pair of 20+ goal seasons on those (very good) Ducks teams. But he's definitely gotten major help by playing with Crosby, which has made hima better player. But I still don't think he's Team Canada material. Outside of the 09 playoffs, he's been "meh" at best when it counts the most. |

Man, I just looked at the list of 10th overall picks. What a pick of death. The last player who I'd consider an impact player taken 10th was Bobby Holik (89), and the last superstar was Selanne (88). Other than that, Jocelyn Thibault was the best (RIP Bourdon).

On the plus side... the 11th overall does pretty good. |

thats fine by me too. team canada is the most stacked team in the world. thinking he doesnt deserve to be on that isnt synonymous with saying he sucks. but whether he belongs on the team or not is really only a piece of the argument thats been driving me nuts. if someone thinks hes a scrub player (theyre wrong, but thats besides the point), you are essentially declaring crosby as so good that he can turn a scrub into a 40 goal scorer. but yet at the same time, that same person will try and say how crosby himself is overrated and not really the top guy in the league. regardless of how someone forms either of these assumptions, i dont know how they can coexist simultaneously in their brain, as they are kind of mutually exclusive |

Well, some people would argue that Gretzky turned Jari Kurri into a 600-goal scorer (from, say, a 400-goal scorer) but there's a host of people out there who (somehow) say Gretzky was overrated. |

yeah, but what gets me is when those two sects of thinking overlap in the same person. |

I get you. If it was me, I just wouldn't care. Opinions are like mothers: everyone has one, and they've all been (frank)ed. Yeah, I just came up with that. I'm so witty.
Point is, your team has been gifted, I mean, blessed with, the best player in the game. I wouldn't worry too much about what other people think of him. |

My question is, How is it possible that Pittsburgh boo'd Bettman like every other NHL City. They should be on thier knees for him.... |

For him to not get booed by any fanbase, he would have to basically walk out when the Cup's presented, beat up every member of the winning team, and drive The Cup to that team's city. Six years in a row. |

as dumb as it sounds, its more about just being blatantly wrong and overconfident in that fact despite how logically flawed it is that upsets me more than anything. its more just stupidity irking me than anything hockey related. |

Well to be honest, Crosby could be over-rated and still make players around him better. I mean, the way people talk about crosby (Panger) you would think he was Gretzky or Lemieux... which is over-rating him... but he can still be a great player and be over-rated. |

Per Corey Pronman, Anthony Stolarz looked to have been cut by a skate in a game tonight, bleeding & stretchered off |

They usually don't use a stretcher for a minor cut. |

I know, but there's a difference between bleeding a lot and actually having damage, ya know? |

They have not made anything known, I had the Oshawa game on but with 2 laptops I put that on one as they replayed the cut & have it on to see if they say anything during the broadcast. |

amazing how many Lindros hits would be penalties in todays game. he left his feet and launched himself a lot on many of those hits. God I watching Eric play |
