I love how Kadri has one good game and suddenly he's one of the best young players in the game again. Kovalev used to have a great game once in a while too.
- sanfordnson

It's rediculous . Kadri isn't a bad player...just seems like every team has a young Center of his caliber. Pretty sure his trade value is about the same ( maybe slightly more) than Gagners.

What could possibly make you want to pay for that "insider info"?

There is nothing that could make me give Eklund a penny. Not even if I won the lottery

You're facillitating the flow of money to Eks bank account just by being here is what he meant. Its unavoidable.

For as angry as you seem about this you spend a lot of time here.

he grappled abit, but it's true he didn't wanna go with a heavyweight thug. he's 198 to westgarths 234. I don't know many middleweights that would.
he just tangled with a guy that size a week ago. albeit not a true thug like westgarth. but certainly no pushover.

ur canuck hate is blinding you.
if you don't think bieksa is tough as nails and mean as fuk you're not paying attention.

I find this weird sometimes. we hate whatever team so much, we cant even see their worth or wont admit to ourselves depth of talent/toughness.
I hate the nucks, but everything ive said about bieksa is true.

- hugefemale dog77

I've watched him for enough years to see how he lives to punish smaller players with lots of vim and vigor...but when it's time for him to "get some" he skates away. It's also that stupid smug smirk he always has.... like he think he's "all that and chips too". Fuk him! Sure I wouldn't mind someone like him defensively in Oiler silks....but I still don't like his attitude. Him and those Diks Kessler and Kassien!

Gagner gets the toughest competition on the Oilers (44th highest in NHL among regular forwards).

He's scored 19 points in his last 30 games (50 point pace), with 75% of that coming at ES.

I find it weird how he's become this single beacon of failure for the team, especially when he actually has a positive Relative Corsi. We have better possession when he is on the ice than off it.

Yeah Gags had had a tough start and I think mostly because of the injury. If you hear him speak his mouth is still (frank)ed up. I would rather keep him than give him away. Focus on the D.

JMHO.

The plan isn't to just give him away, it's to get help somewhere. More than likely on the defense side of things. 6 points last 7 games is good for his value and the Oil.

Listening to some of the analysts as to what return might be I'd rather keep him. I realize most of these tools are stupid as (frank) but Gags is under rated by most other fan bases.

This why I hate advanced stats. Watching him play is frustrating as hell, lately he has the scoring touch of Shawn Horcoff.

Did anyone really think we'd get rid of Dubnyk? Right now Gagner might not be worth that much, but as the season goes on his value will go up.

The same tools who suggest Yakupov for Reimer would be a fair trade or that Cam Ward would cost Eberle+(+)? Yeah, I'd take their opinions with a fairly large grain of salt.

I'm fine trading him if we can get the top 4 dman or top 6 forward MacT is reportedly looking for.

I feel like sooner or later though, he's going to give up and settle for a lesser asset. Those who have already lost their patience with him will call it a win, but it won't be.

They don't count for everything, because there are evidently a lot of things he could still use major work on. But there have been some mitigating factors for his and Yakupov's seasons.

Playing him on the wing is a positive step.

Add to the fact that I had a case of delirium and you got the combination for a season ticket pass. It's kinda good to not have to deal with all the ads but I also cancelled the subscription.
