Hey I'm not a STAT guy...at all . But there are ways to determine wether or not you deserve to win or not,and the Oulers did not deserve (I believe )11 games last year but managed to get 2 points. That shows a massive fundamental flaw. Every team wins a few like that in a season. Nobody wins the majority of their games that way and makes the playoffs. That flaw has to be corrected, wether you see it or not.

Think about your wording. PP conversion percentage is an important stat as is PK percentage. Shots against per game is another. GF and GA are also very significant. How do you know what's wrong if you're only looking at the team's record? You don't.
