Think about it again. PP conversion percentage is an important stat as is PK percentage. Shots against per game is another. GF and GA are also very significant. How do you know what's wrong if you're only looking at the team's record? You don't.

Toronto had a good record last season; did that mean they were any good? No. They got unsustainably outshot and outchanced every game in a way that just isn't conducive to long term success. We're now seeing their luck catch up to them.

I don't think the inteligent ones among us truly believe that there is only one flaw about this team...

I hate Eakins. I will not hide that fact. He has done nothing to inspire confidence in his own abilities.

What I see is a stubborn fool, who will rather sink then swallow his pride. I see a man who is quite obviously flustered after every game, who talks about the same mistakes being made over and over again.

I also see a coach who does not show any sort of emotion on the bench... nothing.

I agree with what he says... I do not see any evidence of it on the ice.

All I can conclude is that either our players have below average inteligence... or his(Eakins), message has been lost some where along the way.

-Oilers Over pay for Nicolai Kulemin, Matt Niskanen and Jaro Halak at free agency.

Sure, there is about a 1% chance this could happen, but I think it helps us next year and doesnt totally (frank) us over for the future.

Loved that cartoon as a kid. Got Castle Grey Skull for xmas one year, and Snake Mountain for xmas the next. 80's toys beat the poop out of the crap they make these days.
