You know those boys must have a bright future if you can play Matt Carkner in your Top 6 and Eric Boulton and Matt Martin at the same time and still give teams fits - AllInForFlyers
JT will always give them a chance. okposo has really developed. vanek is flourishing there. when healthy, hamonic is good. de haan will get there. and a lot of the rank and file guys are just fast as hell and dont quit. |

Know its not the place, but it is a cause somewhat dear to my heart.
Wont post the link because I think its against HB rules, but the article is on a reputable Canadian news website.
85 people, currently own as much of the world's wealth, as half of the whole population of the planet.
So that's 85, against what 3.5 billion? Horrific, and people think we have advanced so far from the middle ages. - flyer_nutter
7 billion ... but, yeah. |

How long is Voracek out? - Pixote Andolini
When they announce he's got a fractured hand/wrist tomorrow around noon, I'm guessing 6-8 weeks. |

With the Olympic break, it's possible he only misses 9 games. |

Great I finally get home from a 13 hour day of work and meetings and they blow a 2 goal lead and lose in a breakaway contest. And to top it off I hear that Jake and possibly Kimmo are injured??
Man this day is just taking suck to a new level!

Well at least the following cheers me up a bit:
15 days with no pay for Fonzie, priceless!
The NHL issued this statement:
"Mr. Tortorella's actions in attempting to enter the Calgary Flames locker room after the first period were both dangerous and an embarrassment to the League," said NHL Senior Executive Vice President of Hockey Operations Colin Campbell. "Coaches in the NHL bear the responsibility of providing leadership, even when emotions run high, and Mr. Tortorella failed in his responsibility to the game."
What a tool!
Apparently Hartley was fined 25k as well.

This part seems pretty dumb to me, he started people in his lineup.

Actually it's his finger, the middle & ring fingers of his left hand were splinted together after the game. |

Yes because it's not the 70s or 80s anymore and I doubt a legit heavyweight like Mcgratten is going to jump a Sedin. |

imagine my surprise when i find out there was no slashing call on the play in a game where the flyers are shorthanded 9 times. sounds about right |

With the history between these 2 coaches I wouldn't rule out anything.
They have a history going back to their days coaching in the AHL

I'd have probably put them out as well, but with their history that never had a chance. |
