If/when they extend Stajan, he sticks for a "veteran" type role, 3rd liner...Im guessing he signs for 2 years under 4M. Other than that...they dont have much quality centermen which they would move....Backlund and Monahan wont be moved I wouldnt think.

True, but guarding this years pick would mean that we have to defer to a 2015 1st rounder, something we (or any team with a shot in hell of contending for 1st overall should be willing to do)

We are short on young top 6 forwards, which is why many of us think that Kadri won't be coming here. Colorado seems like a much better trading partner (4 very good centres). I think Statsny could fill a hole in TO, if the cap situation could be worked out.
