I have to say after hearing Eakins take on the flame/Nuck debacle that he is exactly what the Oilers need. |

You sarcastic friendo....
He said he could see both sides but defended the Flames. He said the Nucks needed the points more than the Flames so they should of took advantage of us putting out Shek and his 2 bros. ( you didn't know he had bros)!
And he said that McGrats should get the real thanks for saving Torts face.
And I mean McGrats keep Torts out of the dressing room and kept most of the Flames in. |

I neglected thw 3rd line RW wing because we can easily either put arco there or have Pitlick up from the farm. 6ft 2 and about 200 pounds he brings some size and grit plus from what I read last night on the Oilers site, Todd Nelson was suggesting he should be up here - nagasadow
Friedman suggested Pitlick is more suited for the NHL game than the ahl game. |

Yes, and knowing Oiler fans (in Edmonton especially), they would likely think that trading Ryan Smyth, a few pucks and some broken stick blades would be enough to acquire both...
They will then flip Ales Hemsky for two first round picks as well! LOLOL!
People in Edmonton have no clue what they need, they think the team will just 'turn the corner' on their own...they have been waiting for that for some time now...
A lot of 'Oil Change' needs to happen for this team to right the ship. Starting with management and trickling down...
And Poor Ben Scrivens... his education will come in handy now as he will be unemployed in a couple years, thanks to the Oilers.
-- Cue the Oil fans making fun of other franchises now to try and deflect from their poorly run team...pretty much every other franchise though has had more success than you in the last 6 years... even Florida. Yikes. - BodyCheckRadio

a top pairing Dman
a top 4 Dman
a 2way, preferably physical, top 9 winger
strong defensively 2C
starting goalie - oilerfan94
Jared Cowen
Eric Gryba [6th Dman; physical]
Colin Greening
[Don't have anything for that; Spezza?]
Craig Anderson
Since I'm an oilers fan, I'll make a fair deal... |

Cowen's not a top pairing Dman, and Gryba's not top 4. Spezza'd cost a fortune and is not really a 2way player |

Its actually the other way around. Other teams fans think the oil should just trade one of the kids for d and everything will be automatically peachy.
Most of us oil fans know the pieces we need are going to be very difficult to acquire and won't come for spare parts.... |

i am mixed about c.hamilton. i'm not sure would he get qualified. - deks1
He was playing really good hockey when he finally came back from injury but he's now blown out a knee again. Not sure if its the same knee or not, but he'll be in tough to get qualified for another year. |
