You missed the point, the canuck fans expected such a huge return for Luongo that they turned down a few good offers until they couldn't give him away.
Miller has value as a UFA but there is no way he has double or triple what Iginla, etc got a year ago. |

Wouldn't you want Buffalo to also throw in some 1st rounders? Buffalo has no interest in players that'll be UFA's while they are still rebuilding, especially one that'll be a UFA this year and wouldn't really be able to be flipped for much of anything. Stewart is a UFA next year that could be flipped for maybe...a 2nd? So, 2 2nds for Miller and Moulson? Can't imagine what would ever stop this deal from happening, besides common sense. |
