ever notice how the pileup and loose puck always seems to be directly in front of the goalie? the puck never squirts to the side for a tap in. at the other end of the net, it just deflects in off a skate or a shin or an ass cheek. - hammarby31

funny, a few weeks ago we were all saying how the Flyers had such a confidence to them ... now they're back to being as fragile as they ever were.
you could SEE the whole team sag after that 2nd goal. This could get ugly ... and fast. - FlyerGuy
it's exactly the kind of goal a team spiraling in the wrong direction can't afford, especially against a team like boston. they're playing like they did in the first 15 games of the season. bad.
Horrible first period. If it doesn't get any better in the second, I'm going to watch something else.
The problem areas continue to be: situational awareness, clearing the puck, passing, and the forwards version of defense.
I was really worried about the team after Jagr had left. Many of the players were surprised at his dedicated work ethic. If you need Jagr around to motivate you, then maybe you shouldn't be playing folks. The players should be working hard regardless of who is in the lineup. These slides in play shouldn't last as long as they are. A good team finds ways to win, and works hard every game.
Once again, we are behind in the game, and I don't know where the team will find the strength to recover, and get back into it.
So, I am providing some fun videos to keep us entertained while the Flyers flop around on the ice.
The first one is of Lindros: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AXSYnfgHD3Y
The second one is of Berube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V6gDO14jhLY
The third, and final one is of mad goalies: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8v9wZF-aQ9U
Have a laugh. Have a cry. I enjoyed watching these the other night.
Thanks.
