Mac T was scouting Grossmann and Streit. This was his reaction after the 2nd period.

Dan Boyle and Thomas Vanek will fix everything this summer... just trust. - Tomahawk
Ha! Yeah, but I think Boyle's gonna resign and Vanek's gonna have better options than coming to a team whose defense might be ready to win in 2016 -- if everything breaks right

Would be okay with Vanek..
Would not be anywhere okay with Boyle..
Wouldn't be okay with Hextall or Poulin coming anywhere need this team..
The Flyers need a reboot.. - opeth_pa
We don't need Vanek. He is going to cost a lot too |

Agreed..Vanek shouldn't be anywhere on their list but if he shows up I won't cry..
Another slow or undersized dman though...

Its easier to find scoring than a #1 dman |

I will because he will be paid well and at the expense of a defenseman who could help our team.
If Vanek were free, then sure. |

This teams cursed ever since Richards and Carter performed a spell against them
That's why Pronger got injured

Nashville agrees..
Only 3 players I don't move on this team: Giroux, Voracek and Simmonds...
everyone else is on the table.

the bad news is that this is the Flyers 4th game in 6 nights ... and the Bruins 1st game in 4 nights. So the 3rd period will see a tired Flyers team vs a B's team that is ready to go.
8 zip final.

Relax guys, once we get Rinaldo back we'll be in good shape.
But honestly, I don't see this swan dive righting itself before the Olympic break, so there's a good chance by the deadline we're selling. Question is, do we really have anyone to trade that 1) we'd be willing to part with and 2) would get us anything of real value in return? |

Nashville is a penny pincher. It's easier to find a top 6 forward than a top 4 dman.
I would be open to trading anyone if the deal was right. |

Not when Homer trades for both their rights.... Boyle on a 35+ 4-year deal... Vanek @ $50M max length... will solve everything, lol. |

Timmonen, Mez, and Emery. All at the end of contracts. There will be enquiries. |

Pretty much starts and ends with Timonen. If the Flyers are out of it, he would waive to go to a contender. He would get you a late first rounder.
I don't see the Flyers being a seller. They will be in the hunt.
I thought my earlier proposal of Coburn and a first rounder for Dougie Hamilton is intriguing. Bruins fan came to the thread and said it would definitely interest them. |

3 players on this team should be here..everyone else move em for Dan Boyle and Brian Campbell.. Then keep on keeping on with the Flyers way and make Hexy the gm.

normally, these would be the kind of games that get coaches fired.
wonder if any team has ever fired 2 coaches in the same season?
