Out of all the possibilities, P.A. Parenteau makes the most sense. Colorado needs defense. Parenteau was a healthy scratch last night and has been relegated to the bottom 6 lately. He's a RW by trade who could step right onto the Crosby line, with Bennett playing on the 3rd line when he returns this year and Dupuis heading to the 3rd line next year.

Would like to finding a better skater for the Crosby line, but Parenteau is crafty and can keep up mentally with Crosby and Kunitz.

What's a shame is that if Duper would have been able to get his surgery a day or two after his injury he "may" have been able to return for a Cup run. I know that not everyone likes him around here, but that man is a heart and soul type of player; those types of guys don't grow on trees.
