I didn't criticize Gallagher.

As for Prust... the refs thinks he embellishes everything, and they don't make calls when he's interfered with, and he doesn't get away with the stuff other players do.

The other night, when he snapped, he was getting a penalty for high sticking someone, which he had no control over because he was blatantly tripped right in front of the ref's eyes.

Anyways, sounds like a bunch of bellyaching. Seems really clear that they don't like him.

So the refs have it out for Subban and Prust

Question: Am I the only one who thinks the Habs are going to move Andrei Markov by the trade deadline?.. Are the Habs playing Beaulieu to get he acclimated to NHL so If they do move Markov it will be a smoother transition for Beaulieu?.. The last time the Habs made a bold move like this, I think this they traded Craig Rivet to San Jose for Josh Gorges and a first round pick, that pick ended up being Max Paccioretty.. Is it time for the Habs to cut ties with certain players and give the younger guys a time to shine, Ala Brian Gionta, Rene Bourque, Francis Boullion, Douglas Murray...

I don't see it happening.

I don't know about Subban.
I'm not complaining about it. But they don't like Prust.

I think there will be at least one between now and the Olympic break.

I heard Markov could be traded on facebook, do you agree?

I guess that's fair.
- EricEngels

Every time he gets a chance to play on the 3rd line as a center, which is what he wanted, he doesn't do anything with it. He just can't win a battle for the puck and he is slower than ever.

So what? He stops the minute the whistle goes...he's allowed to go there!
- number_23

That type of play might piss off the opponents.

Another guess though.

I didn't imply that you did...I'm just saying the Refs never give him the benefit of the doubt...I was linking it to your Prust comment in the blog... I should've specified...

Why won't Therrien reunite the Gorges-Diaz combo that was doing so well at the beginning of the season?

He's a pest, he plays on the limit and once in a while gets called for it, that's fine.

why not explore it? are we really trying to build something from the ground up? or is the idea to make sure we tread water year after year? why not play the asset management game? would be nice to see Bergevin make a bold statement or at least take the team in a clear direction. this feels like limbo.

don't even think you're getting that. i think you're getting a 22-year-old AHLer who is one step away from the Swiss league. (eg. Louis Leblanc)
