Maybe so, but they need to start building some win mentality somehow and if its on the back of a ridiculous performance so be it. I don't think there are many oiler fans sitting there thinking 'wow, we can make a run, Scrivens is the man!' Most of them seem realistic about needing better D upgrades and recognize that last night was an aberration. |

yes but the Leafs did it with teams completely devoid of anything resembling young talent. the Oilers don't need another top 5 pick. they need to learn how to win hockey games. at any time of the year. that said, not sure anyone on that team shout be patting itself on the back aside from Scrivens. 59 shots is a travesty. |
