why not explore it? are we really trying to build something from the ground up? or is the idea to make sure we tread water year after year? why not play the asset management game? would be nice to see Bergevin make a bold statement or at least take the team in a clear direction. this feels like limbo. - DoubleDown
If they're out of the playoffs, then yes.
If not, Habs need him for the playoffs, no?

So the refs have it out for Subban and Prust - mr.peanut
I can't blame them... I'd probably have those 2 on my watch list as well.
Same with a guy like Hartnell. |

Habs = Pens (minus Crosby and Malkin but who cares about those guys anyway) - Pecafan Fan
In short, the Titanic is still en route to the iceberg, and no one at the helm is paying attention.
I love how he blames Therrien for playing Murray... he should be pointing fingers at MB for acquiring him |

Just trying to help 23 find the answer. - pete26
I know all that...by why are they (refs) treating him like a Brad Marchand, when he clearly is not dirty. He's in your face...he's intense...but he's clean and plays the white right way.

Why do I have a feeling the habs are about to trade Diaz and Leblanc?

I know…
It’s because they are actual useful hockey players.

they will in all likelihood miss the playoffs but they'll still be "alive" by the deadline. so i expect Bergevin to keep him for the big push. |

Because he creates a scrum almost every time there's a whistle when he's in front of the opponent's net?
Third and final guess..
