Who is saying that Therien is the sole reason for them "winning" last year?

Other then the people who want to blame him for losing this year

- 2gals1dane

That was the logical fallacy.

If you can't blame this year's collapse on him, you can't put last year's success on him either.

The point is, the habs are trending downward and Therrien doesn't seem to know what made the team successful in the first place.
- hon_hon_hon

I just don't see how the players aren't part of the equation!!!!

Lost in this equation, the players.

Not their fault, ever.

They are also tired, and suffering from depression over the debt they collected on their credit cards in december

I would have liked him to use shots against by defence men who wear a number higher than 40 with a stick flex greater than 95 from that year.

Was there really a bunch of people saying that without Therrien this team would be in last place, last year?

They are.

But that doesn't leave Therrien out of it either.

I bet Berkshire was posting how great a job Therrien was doing after every single game.

Because the possession stats were good last year.

And this year until the 14th game.

Which coincides with Douglas Murray's inclusion into the lineup.

edit : which points to Therrien changing the team's playing style to fit the worst elements of his lineup

I'm quite sure MT had no choice of playing Murray.

I'd love to see a GM get a plyer and a coach deciding to never play him ...

The "behind the scene" talk is that Therrien asked Bergevin for a player like Murray.

So it's fair game to say that Bylsma took the Pens team when Gonchar was back in the lineup?
