Like I said Q was always very patient with him...more so than any other player I can think of.

He tries to do too much at times but can be an effective player...and has been sloppy and pressing the last few games.

I would keep him on one line for awhile because he should be good with Kane.

I think with Versteeg its more a matter of perception Al. As good as a player as Hossa is, he will turn it over in bad spots too. They all do. Versteeg is at his best when he is moving the puck and his feet. I, for one, will live with occasional turnover because he brings a lot to this team. Just making a point to follow up your post.

If I can contain myself and abstain from trash talking Canucks fans then anyone can. Most of the Canucks fans I know are good fans and know their stuff, but they are frustrated with their team just as we have been. Although the long term outlook for their club is pretty bleak.

Watching Boston and the Habs. Bruins look worse than the Hawks did last week. Their goalie - who we all know is way better than Crow, and makes a lot more cash - was pulled.

Even I was mad after the Winnipeg game so I haven't been posting, because if I was posting negative things I think this board might collapse into pure hate speech Last game was awesome, when the Hawks play fast they are so fun to watch. Good game from CC too.

I asked about this earlier today because it just seems odd that he needs to be so protected physically. He's younger than Zues and the same age as Hossa. He's only a couple years older that Sharp. I saw upthread that he's got a bad knee, which seems to answer the question. I assume this bad knee has been present for his whole time here, because it has been the rule for him to miss a lot of games for maintenance.
