I really wonder the same thing. I don't understand it. There's been so many obvious things that need to be done .. for a long time.. that just haven't been happening. I just keep hoping the reason has to do with this being the effects of whatever Lou has to do in order to make a beneficial trade.. I keep hoping it's taking so long because of the status of the market and that this is by design for GOOD reasons. Not reasons that involve loyalty and whatever nonsense.

starting to get the feeling lou doesn't care about the lost draft pick. even with giving up the 1st round pick, the 2nd round pick will be somewhere around 33 to 37 overall. lou can get 1st round talent for 2nd round price? why else would he continue to allow the pylon brothers to be on this roster at the expense of the 20 young defenseman he has been stockpiling at the expense of a young scorer?

Don't really like Gionta as the 2nd line center...or I guess that line becomes the 3rd line now. Would prefer to just keep CBGB together and put Loktionov between Elias and Brunner, then scratch one of Salvador or Merrill. I've defended Sal a lot, thought he would be good once he got 5-10 games in, but man he is making me look foolish. I don't know who I'd rather have bought out at this point him or A-train in the off-season. Probably Anton still because of cap hit and term, but Sal needs to stop being awful.

He is a RW, Brunner or Ryder + for him. We need a LW or C.

That cup run against Dallas made me sick. Nauseating. So many great players. Is it really that hard to build a competent team?? We did it before! I guess it's hard when your best players retire or leave in their prime. We wouldn't have won those cups if Stevens and Niedermayer retired in 2000. It's so frustrating. It's hard to believe the same GM that runs this team is the one that built those cup teams. Just those 2 star forwards.. all the difference. We were 2 wins away from a other Cup.. Those 2 forwards..

Goes back to what I was saying on the previous blog. Every good, or great team has one, if not two "go-to" offensive player. This team has zero. Honestly not one bonafide first line forward. It is pathetic. What a difference two season makes. Depressing..

every time we're in trouble they are the pair on the ice. can't stand it. It's making my blood pressure rise. We're night and day better with the inexperienced Gelinas-Larsson over the slow pylons of Volchenkov-Salvador. We'd be SO MUCH BETTER.

WHYYY DOES LOU ALLOW THIS!!! LOU! THE SAME GM THAT BUILT THE 95.. the 2000.. the 2003 CUP TEAMS! Heck... even the 2012 team! Yes, we had Parise and Kovy.. YES they are all-stars.. but Lou made the moves he had to. This entire year has been painful because from the very start we had the logjam on D.. and week by week we writhe in agony as the ineptitude continues without any changes. We don't have our own 1st round pick.. yet we willingly.. WILLINGLY put the players on the ice that are WORSE than the ones we have in the minors and on the bench.

WHY are they making us suffer? Why do they torture the fans? Why do they hurt the team!? Why hurt the franchise!? Why RUIN us!? WHyyyyyy
