Didn't catch the game but watched the highlights this morning and that was the first thing I noticed. Salvador completely lost his man on the first, then was in a flop-sweat panic, flailing around on the second. Man this guy looks bad this season.

One more year at $3.2M. Any chance another team needs a third-pairing guy for a 7th rounder? Can you even do that to your captain?

Volchenkov, two more seasons at $4.2M. Likely unmovable, but at least he puts together a few games of resembling his old self every now and then (not lately, but still...).

At least Anton still hits and is somewhat mobile out there. Sal has completely lost it and other than the occasional blocked shot on the PK provides nothing. I'm not sure we can have him on this team next year and no shot anyone wants him. Maybe Anton with one less year on his deal becomes a more attractive trade target next year? Doubtful though still.
