I'm sorry but Russell Wilson and kaepwrnick and the second and third most overrated qbs after flacco. They're fast and...um...they're....fast?

yeah exactly. well i will say this about wilson, if you just looked at his numbers he would be a total afterthought. but he does have just that extra intangible about him. on this team, with this personnel around him, he is an extremely effective starter. is he a top 5 quarterback, no. but he doesnt have to be for this team. and thats no shot at him. he has some doug flutie in him.

how you overlook russel wilson? if he's not a top qb and wins the superbowl what does that say about the other qbs? i'm not targeting this at you but in general if he gets the job done doesn't that matter?

I stopped watching the game after watching Bronco receivers getting mugged up to 10 yards off the line as they attempt to run a route...

I could careless who wins, but the game deserves better. One week they call holding on the defense for grabbing the receivers on every down.. the next week they don't call anything..

I had more fun watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse reruns with my son.

but what youre failing to take into account is all that goes into "getting it done". seattle is absolutely destroying them, but its not as though russell wilson is galvanizing the team to victory. he is doing what he has to do, yes. and i understand he cant make more be asked of him than is necessary. but peyton has never been on a team in which he carried a disproportionate amount of the responsibility for their success. russell wilson doesnt bear that same weight.

By that logic, Michael Leighton is the best flyers goaltender since hextall, since he got them to within 1 goal and 1 game of a cup

yes, but the seattle defense is tasked with stopping peyton manning and as a result peyton is tasked with cracking seattle's defense
peyton is failing miserably at that job for a qb with his stats from the regular season he's sure blowing it

like i said, i like russell wilson. i think he has made the most of limited physical abilities, and is a smart, driven, and clutch. but one of the top quarterbacks? no.

like i said, his job is significantly easier than his counterpart on the vast majority of games because of the team component of the game.

point in case right there. another turnover. yet again. regardless of how you evaluate wilson, he has nothing to do with that.

I wonder how management couldn't see that Leighton was playing the best he would ever play during those few weeks. AHL goalie at best, got so hot it was funny, but cooled off in the SCF's. Then played what, 1 more NHL game after?

Fair enough...so niemi was a superstar goalie that season though since they won a cup right? Because his team was better than the flyers even though they both allowed a baziklion goals, he's a Stanley cup caliber goalie? And bryzgaliv was far superior to maf in 11-12 because his team won.

Bottom line: if your team wins, then every player on your team is better than the counterpart on the other team.

have you watched niemi on the sharks? he's single handedly kept them in many games esp the one the other night against the blackhawks

Denver's reasons for losing have nothing to do with clutching and grabbing by seattle

okay. here you go. all youve just managed to prove is that seattles defense is better than its job than peyton manning is at his. if you would like to make that a point of contention, then youre at least doing so in a logical way. however, that sentence in no way contributes to anything concerning russell wilson or colin kaepernick

But he hasn't won a cup with them, so that's meaningless. He's never ever better than the other goalie in any playoff series he loses...because since his team loses, he is not better than the other goalie.
