Neil Young should have consumed Lynyrd Skynyrd with laser beams from his eyes while singing "Southern Man." |

That requires traveling to Ocean City, MD. If I'm traveling anywhere, I'm going to Nashville and going to all of the clubs at night. Some of the best music you'll ever hear, and it's probably only 20% country. - jmatchett383

fabulous show at a great old theater in Nashville with tons of the local professional musicians joining in |

I know it's not fair, but I just never think of Canada when I think of crime. I just think of some arctic wasteland where everyone lives in mutual harmony and the only thing to worry about is frostbite and bear attacks. |

Ah, you should try it some time... I mean its only about 1:45 minutes from where you work and blows NJ beaches out of the water... Dont have to worry about heroine needles and Jersey Shore wanna-bees. |

My dad would probably love that. I visited the Ryman, it was pretty cool. I was amazed at how much I liked Nashville. Every day was a blast. |

I'd rather travel 40 minutes to Ocean City, NJ. It's a dry town, so you don't get those types, it's very family friendly (and no stupid drink high school kids). Smokin' hot girls though. It's actually a surprisingly clean beach, with the exception of the rare case of a gathering of jellyfish washing up. |

it's mostly acoustic/country Neil as Prairie Wind, but he plays some of the classics at the end of it

I believe he is the man who invented the styrofoam coffee cup in the mid-1950s. Son of a Wyoming pig farmer who traveled around the world in a zeppelin named "The Great Wallenby." |

That's like saying you'd rather have Babe Ruth on your team over Mickey Mantle. One's a 100 and one's a 99.5. |

Not a huge fan, but Holy Grail is probably my all-time favorite (and most quoted) comedy. I like a lot of Cleese stuff, but wasn't a big fan of the flying circus.
Also, my writing ability focuses on short stories featuring kick-ass nordic barbarians who go about beheading people and doing other deeds of kick-assery. |

This again?.... Delaware beaches are great, and each has thier own crowd.
Rehoboth... Familys and Gays
Dewey... Highschool and College kids
Bethany.. Familys only, higher end.
Fenwick.. Lower end version of Bethany
OC MD.. for your 25+ best beach IMO. Can find anything here, and easy to get around. 1 main road, has something for everyone, but isnt crazy with drunks. |

Fair enough. I just don't automatically equate "talented musicians" with "good band." I can respect their talent, but don't have to like the music they write.
Also, I've heard some REALLY talented cover bands, and man they are fun. And I enjoy most of them better than 85+% of original bands. But a bad cover band can be beyond unbearable. - jmatchett383
Perfect example: jazz. Respect the difficulty, hate the sound. |
