Way too much of a friendly atmosphere in here today

If the Avs play like they did in NY this could get ugly, but I think they have bounced back from a few bad beats this year with great games. I hear you guys got some nice wins in the difficult California road swing. We seem to be running into some hot teams lately. I am guessing a 4-3 Colorado victory.

Giroux has to at least be considered to fill that spot. Hopefully he doesn't think he can improve his chances with a big game tonight...

By now, it is well known that, with the comback win in San Jose, the Flyers set a new team record for 3rd period combacks. Does anyone know the NHL record for 3rd period combacks in one season?

I always hated the way they killed off Chrissy. I know it came as a surprise, which was nice. But for a character with such impact, I wish they would've built it up a bit more in the episodes leading up to it. I wish he would've just ran away and pursued his movie career.

I always hated the way they killed off Chrissy. I know it came as a surprise, which was nice. But for a character with such impact, I wish they would've built it up a bit more in the episodes leading up to it. I wish he would've just ran away and pursued his movie career.

Flyers played one of their best games of the year against the Sharks. Dominated them through the whole game. Giroux had 3 points and played well. Hopefully, he continues it and makes the team. He deserves it. He's now tied for 11th in scoring.

LOL, sorry, "Three's Company" is a bit before my time. The fella I quotes has a picture of Chris from the Sopranos, Tony's nephew. I suppose it was a bit forward of me to call him Chrissy as if we were close friends....

I would argue mackinnon has been the top player for Colorado lately. The kid is lighting fast. I expect a 5-2 flyers win and Giroux earning a Stevie y call post game

Giroux has more points than any other player since Dec 17. Pretty nice recovery from a very bad start of the season

I just finished the Sopranos.

I was a little iffy on how Christopher died. But after thinking, it makes sense. The guy was a burnt out loser, who chose Heroin over everything else. Coupled with his sour, and deteriorating relationship with Tony--it was only a matter of time before he OD'ed anyway. Tony by that point saw him more as baggage than anything else--hence, why Christopher died the way he did.

I knew Giroux would come around. He must have hit 5 posts in the first 15 games.

I just remember those twitter jokes 'so and so now has more goals than Claude Giroux.' Giroux now has more points than everyone but 12 players in the league.

First, I'd take a 2-1 win. The score is irrelevant. Just win. Second, that call won't be coming from Stevie Y. As one poster said earlier (MJL?) they need a winger, not a center. In addition, talk about screwing up a guy by asking him to play a position he isn't accustomed to for a few weeks, then coming back to his natural position! I'd rather he tell Stevie Y, no thanks. After all, he has 8 plus million reasons per year to keep his Flyers commitments ahead of his home country. Screw the Olympics!
