Luke Schenn plays more at ES per game then Timonen does.
Look, Schenn's minutes being down this year are his own fault. He came in and wasn't ready to play in the early Season. The Coaches went with a rotation that has been the same all year petty much. Schenn has improved as the year has gone on, but enough to significantly change the rotation and minutes played overall. - MJL
I wouldn't doubt that, since Timonen plays both PP and PK.
But I'd bet that doesn't hold true for Streit, right, with him having little-to-no PK time?
And yeah: Schenn just hasn't played well neough, as a whole, for things to change. But he does look better with Gus -- truthfully, he looks a LOT better with Gus as his partner. |

That salary will stay on their cap then right? They'll have to play the LTIR bull game like us. More likely the commissioner makes an exception for the pens.
Damn that was a hampering type of contract to them too - Just5
im sure. actually, they just posted it on nhl.com. to make it fair, bettman is requiring each team's number one defenseman sit out for the same duration that letang does. for some odd reason the leaguewide mandate didnt extend to the flyers though. |

I assume you got that injury while playing for the Maple Leafs and that's what ended your career, right? - wolfhounds
I wish that was the case. I could use the income. Basketball injury...caused by a dirty play actually. Cocky high school kid was getting schooled so he stepped on the heel of my shoe, pinning my heel to the floor, as posted him up and made a hard move to the hoop. I guess you could say he stopped me. (frank) him though...my team of 30-40 somethings still won. |

Of the 5 regulars at ES, it's Coburn, Streit, Grossmann, Schenn, then Timonen. |

The Flyers, instead, must start each game on a 5-on-3 10-minute PK. |

whoa i believe there is a misunderstanding here. i'm a phillies fan. not a pirates fan. and while that world series was sweet as pie, it doesnt change the fact the phils are gonna be in the gutter for a little while. it stinks, but it is what it is. they went all in for an extended period with a veteran team. guys get old. it happens. i just wish they could have gotten one more out of it. but im a weirdo anyway, part of me misses the vet and its joke of teams in late summer days.
actually, i probably just miss general admission. i dont know how my grade school self could afford games, and my supposedly young urban professional self cant. |

Well, no, the Neal one was legit. I seriously don't like him at all.
And I do fully expect MAF to crumble in the playoffs again. Likewise, I fully expect DB to express his confidence in him and the fanbase to follow. |

MAF has a shrink to help with his head issues. Remember that NBA prospect that's afraid of flying? |
