Since people want to answer this question for me... I was going to leave it alone, and I will right after this...
I am married to a Liberal. My defination for a liberal person and liberal politician are completely different. A liberal person is someone that thinks with thier heart instead of thier head. They are more concerned about helping and making things better than about how this help will effect everything. They are idealistic. In other words their heart is in the right place.
Now my feeling about conservatives is, they dont want anyone to in-fringe on thier rights.... Whether its thier right to have a gun, a right to worship thier religion, a right to thier own money that they work hard for... Or the right to thier beliefs. They believe that people are good and if you take a corrupt government out of the equasion people will help other people. The problem with this is while protecting thier own rights, they dont care much about other peoples rights... i will freely admit that.
Now my issue isnt with liberal people... its with the politicians. really both sets of politicians... They are evil SOBs that pray on people wants and concerns for thier own agenda.
The only reason I side with conservatives at all is because they want limited government interference. And governemt is noting but evil corruption. They are a middle man, sucking everyone dry. Take 3 dollars from John Doe's paycheck that way we can give 1 dollar for Jane Doe. What happened to the other 2 dollars? Well that is what it cost for the government to take John's 3 dollars go give Jane 1 dollar... I think personally John would rather give Jane 2 dollars without the governemtn getting involved... - youarewrong

i wonder if all that added circulation is why he has such nice hair - -davies-
Maybe. But it's also why he had a stroke. Not getting enough oxygen to where it needs to go. What happens is a teensy weensy bit of deoxygenated blood normally getting pumped to the lungs for oxygenation leaks through that hole to the other ventricle and gets pumped into the body, even though it hasn't gotten to the lungs to be oxygenated. So now we have a slightly lower amount of oxygenated blood circulating through the body as compared to a healthy person. Sometimes in the right situation, that's all it takes. |

Not about sport in this case man. We're all humans, and someone just had a stroke and has a heart defect. You're inhumane if you don't wish him and his family all the best |

you clearly know nothing about california then
california's biggest issue is the liberals
they ruined the state by coming here and raising taxes to take money from the hard working people of the state to fund their bs socialist ideals silicon valley and LA pretty much fund the rest of the state if those two were made their own states then what's left would be like a 3rd world country
california needs to get rid of those leaches and prevent them from coming back so it and start improving - 2Real

So a guy from Turkey tried to hijack a plane and told the crew there was a bomb on the plane and that he demanded to be taken to Sochi.
And the crew pretty much said, "Dude, shut up." and landed in Turkey. |

Never want to see someone have to deal with serious health issues. I hope the diagnosis is accurate and he only misses six weeks and it's not career threatening. |

I believe they've updated the story with the hijacker being a Ukrainian national, and the plane having been forced down by a Turkish jet fighter in their airspace. |

Such are the sacrifices that must be made to keep our focus on the ice and on this franchise who, all things considered, I pretty much need to win a Stanley Cup during my lifetime

Thanks. I've heard about people with the little hole in their heart (sometimes after they've died because of it), just didn't know it could be repaired. - wolfhounds
Teddy Bruski's stroke was caused by this and he had the hole closed and returned to the NFL.
I thought it was reparable through a cardiac catheterization procedure, which is not major surgery. They insert a tube through the femoral artery and work on the heart through that (my brother has had a number of these). So recovery is much less that if you have to crack the chest. |
