Schenn getting 15/16 minutes a night early in the season is getting sheltered. When you're playing nearly 20 minutes a night i don't know how you can say someone is getting sheltered even if he isn't facing the other team's top line, but that's just my opinion.

I agree for the most part. The problem is that any stat that is Corsi based is suspect. QofC isn't all it's cracked up to be. It's misleading.

Oh? I thought it was because of his subpar Z-Corsi which deviates from the mean more than 2.36 times, or roughly 1.62 times the IQR.

To be fair, they aren't required to disclose that. I would prefer he was playing, but I'm not going to have an aneurysm like some are (in general, not referring to this thread).
